Q – What makes and models of vehicles can Autocraft repair?
A – Any make or model of cars and light commercial vehicles (up to LWB, High-top Sprinters).
Q – Can I have a courtesy car?
A – Courtesy cars are available in most cases. If you are claiming on your insurance please speak with your insurance provider or broker.
Q – Is the repair guaranteed?
A – Yes, you’ll receive a comprehensive 3 year guarantee on any repair work undertaken by Autocraft.
Q – How and when do I pay my excess?
A – We will notify you of your excess amount when your vehicle is booked in for repair, the full amount must be paid when the repair is completed and your vehicle is due for collection.
Q – How long will it take for my vehicle to be repaired?
A – Depending on the work repairs can take anything from a day to a number of weeks. This can be affected by availability of parts, insurer authorisation and the extent of the damage. Once we have assessed your vehicle we will be able to give an estimated repair schedule.
Q – How do I know Autocraft will repair my vehicle to a high standard?
A – Autocraft has achieved the British Standards Kitemark for Vehicle Body Repair which means your vehicle will be repaired to the highest standard possible.
Q – My car is still quite new and under warranty, shouldn’t I take it to my dealership?
A – No, Autocraft’s technicians are trained to the highest standards on all makes and models and we only use ‘genuine manufacturer parts’ to ensure the warranty remains validated unless directed otherwise by your insurance company. We even receive accident repair work from main dealers, so who better to trust than Autocraft.
Q – Will my vehicle be cleaned and valeted before it is returned?
A – Yes, but it is not a full valet service. We are instructed by your insurance company to vacuum your vehicle and wash the outside before it is returned. We do offer a full valeting service on request, please ask at Reception if you would like us to provide a price.
Q – Can I have any other damage repaired that is unrelated to the accident?
A – Yes, plus it could save you time to have other dents or scratches repaired at the same time. Please ask our estimators who will be happy to provide you with a competitive estimate.
Q – Who insures the courtesy car?
A – You do. In most cases your insurance will transfer automatically onto our courtesy vehicle, we would suggest you check your insurance policy to confirm this. In the event of an accident while driving our courtesy car, you will be responsible for any excesses as dictated by your policy.
